
Job description
The Material Program Manager (MPM) serves as the liaison between Supply Chain and program IPT(s). The MPM is responsible for creating, managing, and executing material program strategy (MPS) and the material program plan (MPP) to ensure program competitiveness and performance from the front end of the business through contract closure.
Provide supply chain support for Gates activities and ensure IPDP compliance with the programs and tailoring when applicable. Develop and support Supply Chain proposal activities including task descriptions and basis of estimates that support price to win (PTW) targets.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum 3 years experience in a program/project management role, finance and/or supplier management position. Experience within an automated Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system, working with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), and working with FAR/DFAR Regulations is preferred.
