Financial Controller

Role Overview

Responsible for the overall accounting operation, including financial reporting and budgeting. Oversees accounting staff and ensures they are properly trained and motivated.

What You Will Do

Review journal entries, analyze financial statements, prepare special reports, and review accounts payable and receivable. Evaluate credit applications and oversee collection efforts.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Ideal candidate has an undergraduate degree in accounting and/or finance, with 5 years of experience managing a financial/accounting department. Preferred qualifications include CPA, experience in the corrugated industry, and experience in cash management.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in accounting and/or finance
• 5 years of experience managing a financial/accounting department
• 3 years of experience in a manufacturing-related environment
• Proven ability to analyze financial statements and identify potential problems
• CPA (preferred)
• Experience in the corrugated industry (preferred)
• Experience in cash management (preferred)
• Good communication skills
