Machine Operator 2nd Shift

Role Overview

Responsible for safely operating paper bag machines, including setup, operation, quality checks, and recommending improvements to meet customer demand. Work in a team environment to support start-up operations, gather finished product, and maintain accurate counts.

What You Will Do

Perform a range of production support responsibilities, including machine adjustments, maintenance tasks, and quality checks. Gather finished product, box, bag, or package as required, and maintain accurate counts.

Ideal candidate has basic reading and math skills, mechanical and problem-solving abilities, and strong attention to detail. Must be able to work safely, follow GMPs, and maintain good housekeeping.

Requirements

• Prior work experience in the packaging industry
• 6 months' experience in some type of manufacturing operation
• High school diploma or GED
• Lift Truck Operator License (may be required)
