Machine Operator

Role Overview

Responsible for safely operating production machines, setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to meet customer demand. Work in a team environment with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

What You Will Do

Operate production machines, follow GMPs, learn and comply with quality procedures, maximize equipment utilization, and improve set up times and downtime. Train and assist other employees, complete reports, and turn in maintenance work orders.

Ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, excellent quality and high efficiencies with minimal downtime. Must be able to work overtime, sometimes on short notice, and be proactive in maintenance and housekeeping of equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior work experience in the packaging industry (paper, plastics, converting)
• 6 months' experience in some type of manufacturing operation
• Lift Truck Operator License (may be required)
