Material Handler 2nd Shift

Role Overview

Material Handlers support the facility by maintaining accurate records and performing basic forklift equipment maintenance and general housekeeping duties. They work in a fast-paced environment and are responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work area.

What You Will Do

Perform a variety of tasks in the assigned department, including moving units and products, maintaining accurate records, and performing basic forklift equipment maintenance and general housekeeping duties.

Must be able to work safely, follow GMPs, and comply with company policies and procedures. Must have strong attention to detail, be able to multi-task, and have excellent time management skills.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience driving and operating a forklift
• High degree of attention and control for prevention of damage to materials and equipment
• Previous experience in the packaging industry a plus
• Must be Pratt forklift certified
• Previous Pratt and/or two years forklift operation preferred
• Experience with "scanner" or "barcode" warehouse management inventory systems preferred
