Safety Coordinator

Role Overview

Assists Safety Manager in coordinating and implementing Safety programs to prevent, reduce and eliminate occupational injuries, illnesses, deaths, and financial losses. To train and present safety processes, protocols and requirements. To be the leader of the Safety Committee.

What You Will Do

Identifies conditions that could produce accidents and financial losses, enforces accident prevention and loss control systems, and assists in implementing safety activities with department managers. Conducts new-hire safety orientation, maintains training matrices, and leads the Safety Committee and STOP Card Program.
