Principal Software Engineer, ePrescribing

Role Overview

As Principal Software Engineer, ePrescribing, you will own the architecture, reliability, and evolution of Prescryptive's ePrescribing platform, ensuring prescriptions move accurately, securely, and at scale across a complex healthcare ecosystem.

What You Will Do

Define and evolve the architecture for ePrescribing systems, lead implementation of NCPDP SCRIPT standards, design and optimize XML-based message processing, and establish patterns and tooling for certification, validation, and onboarding of new partners and message types.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
• Deep, hands-on expertise in NCPDP ePrescribing (SCRIPT) standards
• Proven track record designing and operating distributed, message-driven systems
• Strong command of XML and schema-driven integrations
• Experience owning end-to-end ePrescribing workflows and interoperability across systems
• Must have permission to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis
