Job Description
We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our Technology team and build high-quality, reliable, and scalable software that delivers business value. The role involves owning development, optimization, and automation activities, writing clean and maintainable code, and collaborating closely with Product Managers, Solution Architects, and fellow Developers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering and development
- Strong coding experience with Core Java
- Thorough SQL composition skills for querying and data analysis
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and building RESTful APIs, as well as familiarity with gRPC-based services
- Experience in Microservices architecture is a MUST, including inter-service communication using REST and/or gRPC
- Experience with cloud platforms, especially GCP or AWS/Azure
- Illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability, and Trust
