Custodian

Role Overview

Under close supervision, the Custodian performs general custodial duties, including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming. Employees in this job class use proper materials and methods to assure areas are clean and free of safety hazards.

What You Will Do

Clean, dust, and wipe furniture, sweep, mop, or vacuum floors, empty and clean wastebaskets, trash containers, and cigarette urns, clean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms, refill restroom dispensers, assist with setup for meetings, classrooms, conferences, events, etc.

Ability to utilize a wide array of custodial chemicals, safely operate custodial equipment, communicate effectively, follow instructions, and have computer literacy to use business software and the Internet.
