Shuttle Bus Driver

Role Overview

Under general supervision, safely and efficiently operates a van or minibus to transport employees to/from work in accordance with an established schedule and route. Maintains accurate records of trips and performs vehicle inspections.

What You Will Do

Operates a multi-passenger vehicle, maintains records, performs vehicle inspections, and cleans/serviced the vehicle. Works non-traditional hours and/or split shifts.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have a satisfactory driving record
• Communication skills to provide procedural and factual information and respond to questions from customers, employees, and others
• Customer service skills to act responsively to customer inquiries and requests and escalate the more difficult matters appropriately
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities
• Demonstrated organizational, problem solving and common sense skills
• Ability to safely operate a passenger vehicle following a schedule
• Ability to read a map book, understand directions and operate GPS devises when needed
