Ingénieur(e) en procédés / Process Engineer

Primero America is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for process engineering calculations, mass balances, establishing design criteria, and development of flow-sheets and P&IDs. You will help with process design and other deliverable required by our clients by providing sound knowledge and understanding of the work methods and techniques applied in the design of processing facilities.

Requirements

• Process/Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering Degree
• Registered (or candidate for) P. Eng license with the OIQ or equivalent
• 4 to 8 years’ experience in engineering, operation and/or commissioning works
• Experience in the mineral processing, metal refining, or related industries;
• High level of analytical ability used to solve complex problems;
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Effective collaboration with internal teams
• Solid understanding of HSE principles and applicable codes
• Flexibility and resourcefulness to manage workload fluctuations
• Proficient in reading specs, schematics, and engineering drawings
• Bilingual (French and English) with excellent communication skills
• Committed to delivering quality work on schedule and providing support as needed
