Process Engineer (Canada)

Primero is looking for a Process Engineer to join their team in Canada. The role involves process engineering calculations, mass balances, and design criteria development. The ideal candidate will have a Process/Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering degree and 4-8 years of experience in engineering, operation, and/or commissioning works.

Requirements

• Process/Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering Degree
• Registered (or candidate for) P. Eng license with the OIQ or equivalent
• 4 to 8 years' experience in engineering, operation and/or commissioning works
• Experience in the mineral processing, metal refining, or related industries
• High level of analytical ability used to solve complex problems
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Effective collaboration with internal teams
• Solid understanding of HSE principles and applicable codes
• Flexibility and resourcefulness to manage workload fluctuations
• Proficient in reading specs, schematics, and engineering drawings
• Excellent communication skills
• Committed to delivering quality work on schedule and providing support as needed
