Job description
The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility, including raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods, while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting production operations.
Operate various types of material handling equipment, perform daily safety inspections, load and unload trucks, store and retrieve pallets, stage materials, move and manage WIP pallets, maintain organized storage areas, perform inventory cycle counts, and complete required safety documentation.
Previous forklift experience required, valid forklift certification, basic computer literacy, ability to read and understand production schedules, mathematical skills for inventory counting, knowledge of warehouse management systems, understanding of safety protocols, and ability to read and follow written instructions.
