FinOps Specialist

Role Overview

ProsperOps is seeking a seasoned FinOps practitioner to support and expand our industry-leading offering, Autonomous Discount Management for Azure. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in FinOps with a strong background in optimization strategies and execution.

What You Will Do

Partner with Account Executives to deliver engaging product demos, analyze cloud cost optimization opportunities, and be the go-to expert on Reservations, Azure Spot VMs, and Compute Savings Plans.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a FinOps or Engineering role with a cloud service provider, consultancy, or company using Azure at scale
• Prior experience as an Analyst or Presales Engineer is highly preferred
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cost Management and Billing Tools, 3rd party cloud management platforms, or home-grown applications
• Strong computation, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to make API calls and run queries to collect and manipulate data
• High integrity, curious, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
