Job Description
Protection Technologies LLC is seeking a motivated Assistant Low Voltage Fire Technician to support the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire alarm and life safety systems. This role works under the supervision of a Lead Fire Technician and will gain hands-on experience in commercial, multi-family, and critical infrastructure environments.
Requirements
- Assist with installation of fire alarm systems (devices, panels, wiring, conduit)
- Support troubleshooting and basic diagnostics of fire alarm systems
- Assist with inspections, testing, and maintenance in compliance with NFPA standards
- Pull and terminate low voltage cabling
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and riser diagrams
- Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
