Senior Manager - Cybersecurity Engineering

Aptiv is seeking a Senior Manager of Cybersecurity Engineering to lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of robust security solutions to protect data, networks, and systems from evolving threats. The role requires a proactive mindset to drive automation, threat intelligence, and incident response efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum of five years of experience in cybersecurity operations, with at least two years in a leadership role
• Proven experience managing SOCs, incident response teams, and threat intelligence programs
• Strong technical knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and other security technologies
• Deep understanding in TCP/IP, DNS, Networking, AWS, Azure or GCP environments
• Advanced proficiency in server, SIEM and Vulnerability management tools
• Experience in both IT and OT environments preferred
• Familiarity with industry frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, ISO 27001)
• Professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, CISM) are highly desirable
