Prysmian Group is seeking a highly motivated and self-starter Process Engineer to support the manufacturing of optical fiber at the Claremont fiber manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will evaluate, troubleshoot, and conduct process control and improvement activities on a daily basis and through long-term projects.
Requirements
- B.S. in Engineering (Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, Glass Science, Ceramic, or Metallurgical Engineering) from an ABET accredited institution
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a complex manufacturing process or an internship experience in a complex manufacturing environment
- Ability to understand complex process flow and machinery
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize tasks to make progress on short term and long term initiatives
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Detail and quality oriented
- Strong presentation skills
- Demonstrated excellent organizational skills
- Experience working with large sets of data and making data driven decisions
- Ability to make analytical decision
