Prysmian is the world leader in the energy and telecom cable systems industry. We are seeking a hands-on project manager to coordinate and complete projects on time within budget and scope, leading investments that span from bricks and mortars, utilities and up to purchasing, installing and commissioning cable machineries for the final hand-over to the Plant.
Requirements
- Master CAD drawings (2D and 3D) to guarantee the layout of our plants and machineries are always updated and well maintained.
- Help the team check and supervise machinery foundations and subsequent equipment installation, thanks to the extensive knowledge in steel and concrete.
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation to deliver the projects on-time, within scope and budget
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of the project
- Delegate project tasks based on members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels
- Be present onsite for the most critical parts of the project to ensure no disconnect happens
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Strong leadership skills: can lead a team of individuals at various levels within the organization through coaching and mentoring.
- Proven working experience in project management: has successfully managed large, complex projects within budgeted resources to completion with outstanding results.

- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience. Civil / Structural / Mechanical Engineering Degrees preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong AutoCAD experience or similar design/drafting software knowledge
- On – field overseeing of daily operations for the most critical parts of the project.
- Travel up to an average of 60% of the time, depending on the specific phase of the project.
