Job Description
The Medical Director will collaborate with internal and external experts to complete key tasks such as identifying practice gaps, developing strategic needs assessments, and creating high-quality content for medical education activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical education, knowledge of rules and regulations, and solid background in therapeutic areas such as cardiology, gastroenterology, and oncology.
Requirements
- 4+ years' experience in medical education
- Advanced medical or science degree
- Knowledge of rules and regulations overseeing medical education
- Familiarity with current trends in the industry
- Existing relationships with faculty experts
- Experience in identifying and obtaining grant funding for medical education
- Expertise in presenting program ideas based on educational need externally
- Conversance in key/emerging issues in therapeutic areas
- Solid editorial skills and capability to adapt editorial style
- Expertise in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Word
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
