Mechanical Design Engineer

Puffco is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Product Development team, focusing on the design and delivery of cannabis products. The role involves creating CAD models, contributing to product ideation, and collaborating with Quality and Supply Chain teams to ensure product specifications are met. It's a hands-on individual contributor role with a focus on both aesthetics and manufacturing feasibility. The position is based in Los Angeles, CA.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
• 4+ years of industry experience in mechanical design and consumer product development
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks
• Portfolio of design examples and project contributions
• Understanding of the entire design process
• Experience with Design for Manufacturability and related concepts
• Excellent organizational skills
• Extensive experience with mock-ups and prototype fabrication
• Fluency in Mandarin/Cantonese (preferred)
