The medical assistant position is responsible for providing professional clinical support through established standards and practices. They help providers and staff in coordinating efficient and safe patient care, by performing duties such as information collection, rooming patients, and assisting with or performing designated procedures.
Requirements
- Maintain licensure, in good standing, acceptable in the State of Washington.
- Active BLS (basic life support) certification.
- Demonstrates the ability to perform the required technical skills for a medical assistant.
- Demonstrates the ability to perform the required technical skills for specific clinic.
- Ability to learn and adapt to technology.
- Initiates and participates in activities that enhance daily operations of the clinic and organization.
- Ability to manage time, tasks, and resources appropriately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with colleagues, patients, and customers.
- Strong typing skills.
- Ability to read and write clearly, and understand policies, labels, and written instructions.
