Senior Front End Software Engineer

Role Overview

We're Nortal, a global digital solutions company with 25 years of experience. We're looking for a Senior Front End Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge software products. The role involves working on a global project for TUI, a leading leisure, travel, and tourism company.

What You Will Do

As a Senior Front End Software Engineer, you will contribute across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), analyze and clarify UI requirements, design and develop scalable solutions, and work with microservices via BFF / Facade patterns, GraphQL, and Apollo Server.

Requirements

• Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Preact, and Node.js
• Experience with Micro Frontends
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and UI/UX principles
• Experience with GraphQL, Apollo Server, and microservice integration
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working with cloud services and AWS SDK (Secrets Manager, KMS)
• Understanding of security, performance optimization, monitoring, and alerting
• Experience implementing automated tests
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Customer-centric mindset with strong software craftsmanship values
• Comfortable working autonomously in ambiguous environments
• Upper-intermediate level of written and spoken English
