Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence QA Engineer

QA Consultants is seeking a Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence QA Engineer with in-depth understanding of Data Warehousing/ Business Intelligence concepts from a QA perspective. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with EDW source to target testing, data transformation/manipulation testing, and data quality/completeness validation using SQL scripting. Experience with ETL, Cognos, HPQC, and automation scripting is also beneficial.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with EDW source to target testing (SQL scripting)
• Data transformation/manipulation testing (SQL scripting)
• Data quality/completeness validation (SQL scripting)
• Working knowledge and testing experience of ETL
• Experience in running the scheduler (Mainframe ESP)
• Cognos QA Experience – Reports, Dashboards,Cubes and Packages
• Experience with HPQC (Test Management Tool)
• Experience with creation of Test Plan/ completion documents
• Automation experience with SHELL/ PERL scripting is beneficial
