The Company Secretary role provides proactive company secretarial support to QBE's operations in Malaysia, including acting as company secretary of Malaysian operations. The role involves assisting with delivery of Company Secretarial activities, developing and maintaining policy and strategic framework, and carrying out Company Secretarial work involved in various projects.
Requirements
Excellent interpersonal skills
Good communicator
Technical decision making and ability to meet strict deadlines
Group reorganisations and entity elimination
Organisation of meetings, including production of Notice of Meetings, arrangement of venues, equipment etc.
Experience of note taking or minute taking at meetings
Use of Blueprint database to record statutory information
May have a legal or regulatory background
Practical and commercial awareness
Up-to-date knowledge Company Secretarial practice, and of Company law and other relevant legislation
Ideally will also have knowledge of the insurance market
