Speech Language Pathologist

The QSAC School in the Bronx is searching for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language therapy to assess and treat speech, language, and social communication disorders in children with autism spectrum disorder.

Requirements

• NYS Certification of Clinical Competency required
• NYS Certification as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) or Teacher of Students with Speech Language Disabilities (TSSLD) required
• MA Degree in Speech Language Pathology required
• At least 6 months experience employing behavior analytic principles with children with ASD
• Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems, including Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS)
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) highly preferred
