Maintenance Technician

Role Overview

The Maintenance Technician will contribute to preventative and unscheduled maintenance, environmental, health and safety, and other special initiatives to provide exceptional resident satisfaction. They will uphold QuadReal's mission, vision, and values as a brand and cultural ambassador.

What You Will Do

Perform scheduled, preventative, routine and emergency maintenance, daily site inspections, and coordinate trades work. Ensure maintenance records, files, and documentation are maintained accurately and timely.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have two years of general related experience, a high school diploma, and post-secondary courses or certification. They will be able to communicate effectively, develop cooperating working relationships, and lift at least 25 kilograms.

Requirements

• Two years of general related experience
• High school diploma supplemented with post-secondary courses or certification
• Experience with Yardi Voyager and Work Order App beneficial
• Familiarity with smart phone and tablet technology
• Availability for Emergency response and on-call duty
• Awareness of occupational health and safety practices
• Ability to communicate with co-workers and supervisors effectively and professionally
• Superior ability to develop and sustain cooperating working relationships
• Entry level skills in Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift at least 25 kilograms
