Cell Module Design and Development Engineer, Member of Technical Staff

QuantumScape is seeking an early to mid-career engineer to help design and develop solid-state lithium-metal battery technology.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering discipline with 2+ years of relevant work experience OR Master’s degree +1-year relevant work experience
• Hands-on experience working with Li-ion or solid-state batteries and knowledge of electrical test metrics
• Experience with mechanical design principles and software (e.g. Inventor, SolidWorks, CATIA)
• Understanding of experimental design, statistical methods, and associated software (e.g. JMP, Python)
• Excellent communication skills and background working with cross-functional teams
