Staff Writer

Join Questex as a Staff Writer and make an impact by helping marketers and buyers connect more efficiently and effectively. As a Staff Writer, you'll support Questex's success by writing daily news stories and longer-form features for Fierce Pharma Marketing or Fierce Biotech, developing a beat, building a strong network of sources, and collaborating with editors and reporters across the newsroom.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of newsroom experience required
• Degree in journalism or a related, writing-intensive field
• Strong writing and reporting skills, with knowledge of AP
• Demonstrated ability to report quickly, accurately and with depth
• Experience with multimedia storytelling, including podcasting, video or on-camera
• Comfort speaking publicly, including moderating panels or participating in live or recorded discussions
• An understanding of how to use social media as a reporting and audience growth tool
• A collaborative mindset, strong news judgment and enthusiasm for building expertise over time
