Scrum Master / Senior Software Engineer (Linux C++)

QuidelOrtho is seeking a Scrum Master / Senior Software Engineer to join their R&D Instrument Platforms organization. The ideal candidate will have experience with Agile leadership, hands-on software development, and a strong focus on memory-safe design techniques. They will be responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and fostering continuous improvement within the team, as well as designing and implementing robust inter-process and inter-node communication for distributed embedded Linux systems.

Requirements

• Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams
• Coach team members and stakeholders on practical Agile principles and practices
• Remove impediments and foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration
• Design, implement, and modify modular software components for an embedded system
• Act as Software SME in design discussions with Product Managers and Systems Engineers
• Implement service abstraction layers to decouple application logic from hardware and OS dependencies
• Develop integration test frameworks for multi-process embedded environments
• Help define system architecture, configurations, and development processes
• Contribute to system-wide synchronization, logging, and monitoring infrastructure
• Perform good software design practices throughout requirement gathering, architecture definition, unit testing, and code reviews
