Job Description
R.J. Corman is seeking a Railcar Repair Team Member in Charlestown, IN. The candidate must have strong mechanical aptitude and be able to work independently. Must be familiar with basic hand tools and able to operate heavy equipment.
Requirements
- Welding, cutting, and mechanical type repairs
- Forklift operator
- Understanding of documenting work performed and recording material usage
- Ensure that paperwork for railcar repairs is complete and correct
- Ensure that repair jobs are completed in a timely manner
- Ensure that vehicles and shops kept clean and safe
- Ensure that the employees are working in a safe manner
- Assist with inspection and repairs as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned by management
