Electrical Technician I

Role Overview

R&P Technologies is looking for a marine electrical technician to assist with the installation, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic equipment onboard US Navy ships. The ideal candidate must be willing to learn different kinds of electrical devices and systems.

What You Will Do

Assist in the execution of electrical installations, install electrical cabinets and fixtures, connect wiring in electrical circuits, and work with various teams on shipboard availabilities.

Requirements

• Good critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on your own
• Willingness to travel to various locations
• Flexibility with regards to scheduling
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines
• Ability to obtain and maintain Security Clearance and base access credentials
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must be reliable and able to work Monday – Friday 40hrs and be flexible to work weekends if required
