Role Overview

As a Network Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day monitoring, troubleshooting, and management of an organization’s network infrastructure. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the availability, performance, and security of the network services, and applications.

What You Will Do

Network Monitoring: Continuously monitor the network to ensure uptime and performance, using network monitoring tools to identify and resolve issues proactively. Incident Management: Respond to service-related incidents, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions to minimize downtime.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience
• Technical Skills: Experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.), operating systems (Linux, Windows Server), and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Network Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG for real-time network monitoring.
• Security Awareness: Knowledge of network security best practices, including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems (IDS).
• Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve network-related issues quickly and efficiently.
• Communication Skills: Ability to clearly document and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
