Staff ML Research Scientist (Clinical)

Rad AI is a healthcare AI company focused on transforming radiology with its AI-driven solutions. They are seeking a Staff Machine Learning Research Scientist to lead ML research in NLP and clinical AI, collaborating with clinicians and engineers to develop production-scale systems for improved diagnostic reasoning and reporting. Rad AI is seeking a candidate to drive innovation in their proprietary medical imaging datasets.

Requirements

• MS or PhD (or equivalent research experience) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computational Linguistics, Biomedical Informatics, or related quantitative field.
• 6+ years of applied ML research experience (industry or academia).
• Proven experience building NLP or ML systems for healthcare, clinical documentation, or biomedical applications.
• Demonstrated fluency with medical terminology and clinical reasoning.
• Track record of successful collaboration with clinicians.
• Deep expertise in NLP and modern deep learning architectures.
