Job Description
Rock Creek IGA is seeking a Meat Cutter to provide excellent customer service and prepare meat for sale. The role involves cutting, slicing, and preparing meat, maintaining store standards, and assisting other associates. Customers are expected to be greeted with a friendly smile and provide accurate, courteous service.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service
- Ability to interpret and follow instructions and solve problems
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to push/pull a loaded Grocery cart.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to climb and balance on a step stool/ladder.
- Ability to stoop, kneel and crouch.
- Ability to reach above shoulders and horizontally to stock and retrieve inventory.
