Landscape Maintenance Worker

The Landscape Maintenance Worker will perform routine duties involved in planning, care, and maintenance of recreational grounds, including grounds maintenance, equipment maintenance, and special projects.

Requirements

• Participate in grounds maintenance duties, including trimming shrubs and trees, weed abatement, mowing and edging lawns, and watering plants and trees
• Maintain and renovate lawn bowling turf areas, infield, and softball field
• Pick up litter from grounds and parking lot and empty trash containers
• Transport equipment from one recreation center to another
• Inspect, maintain, and repair landscape equipment, including weed eaters, trimmers, and lawn mowers
• Participate in pest control operations as needed
• Assist in preparing the Center for special projects and events
• Participate in setting forms, mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete
• Participate in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems
