AI Engineer (Senior/Staff)

What You Will Do

Build and own production AI investigation agents, develop query agents, build evaluation frameworks, and design retrieval and reasoning pipelines across complex enterprise datasets.

• 2–8 years of software engineering or AI engineering experience
• Strong production AI agent development experience
• Experience building and shipping AI systems as part of a core product
• Strong Python engineering skills
• Experience building on top of LLMs in production environments
• Strong understanding of AI evaluation systems, metrics, and failure modes
• Experience with retrieval, reasoning, or agentic workflows
• Experience operating in high-growth startup environments
• Strong ownership mentality and product instincts
• Comfortable working directly with customers
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience integrating AI coding assistants into daily workflows
• Comfortable operating autonomously with minimal structure
