Job description
This AI-native healthcare company is rebuilding the health insurance experience from the ground up. The Applied AI Engineer will architect and ship AI-native product experiences serving tens of thousands of users, build and deploy sophisticated LLM-powered agents, and develop and improve systems around prompt orchestration, retrieval pipelines, context engineering, and evaluation frameworks.
The Applied AI Engineer will build conversational AI systems, create proactive engagement systems, design and implement guardrails, and own projects end-to-end across backend infrastructure, AI systems, and user-facing product experiences.
Ideal candidates will have strong experience building and shipping full-stack AI products, deep proficiency with Python, Postgres, and modern backend engineering practices, and experience developing production LLM applications, AI agents, or retrieval-augmented systems.
