Application Engineer

Serves as the technical liaison for PES Motors & Drives, translating customer drawings and requests into product solutions. Acts as a subject matter expert in Motors and Drives at customer sites, leading efforts to qualify motors and other product solutions. Provides solutions to customers, conducts evaluations, and supports product changes, deviations, and sample development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience
• 3-5 years of experience in HVAC, commercial appliance, commercial refrigeration, or electric motor Industry
• Demonstrated organizational skills with emphasis on documentation
• Ability to gather requirements, write specifications, test plans, and application notes
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Strong relationship and team-building skills; Including conflict resolution
• Individual must be proactive, high energy and have strong problem solving skills
• Strong time management skills
• Willingness and Ability to learn, help, create and adapt to new technologies
• Aptitude for troubleshooting computer hardware and software program issues
• Ability to travel and work at a customer site for an extended period of time
