The Manufacturing Engineer is part of the Operations team dedicated to supporting Delevan's world-wide customer base. The Manufacturing Engineer will lead the implementation of manufacturing processes, troubleshoot problems, and lead continuous improvement/corrective actions programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or manufacturing-related degree
- Five years' experience with process improvement in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated success in project management
- Extensive knowledge in Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methods
- Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office experience – Word, Excel, Access, Power Point
- Strong aptitude for electrical/electromechanical design as well as possession of well-developed mechanical skillset
- Self-management skills, including health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong numeracy, statistical, and reporting skills with the ability to analyze, interpret, and manage information, data, and trends
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
