Sr Materials & Processes Engineer, Turbomachinery

Relativity Space is seeking a Sr Materials & Processes Engineer to join their Materials and NDE team, which focuses on developing, characterizing, and inspecting materials and processes for reusable liquid propulsion turbomachinery products. This role involves data-driven experimental design, failure analysis, and collaboration with various engineering teams to optimize material selection, qualification, and production for reuse. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in materials science or engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of relevant turbomachinery materials experience
• Leveling flexible and adjusted for experience
• Experience with general propulsion hardware M&P activities
• Experience performing material and part qualifications for AM laser powder bed fusion systems
