Turbomachinery Engineer II

Relativity Space is seeking a Turbomachinery Engineer II to develop assemblies for the fuel and oxidizer turbopumps of the Aeon-R engine family. The ideal candidate will thrive in ambiguity, drive their own projects to completion, and have a passion for working on challenging issues unique to rocket turbopumps.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering or related technical field
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience
• Ability to perform basic structural, thermal, and/or fluid analysis
• Knowledge of turbomachinery design and analysis practices
• Strong communication skills
• Strong understanding of turbomachinery fundamentals
• Knowledge of turbopump assembly procedures
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex turbomachinery operational issues
