Job Description
The Cytotechnologist will examine stained, mounted, and studied cells to detect evidence of cancer, hormonal abnormalities, and other pathological conditions. They will prepare and analyze samples, maintain laboratory operations, and perform tasks like specimen preparation and documentation.
Requirements
- Examines cell samples to detect abnormalities.
- Submits slides to pathologists for examination.
- Prepares and analyzes smears and FNA's.
- Maintains laboratory standards and safety.
- Adjusts or repairs laboratory equipment.
- Coordinates task assignments.
