
Job description
The Superintendent will plan construction work and provide oversight of the daily operations performed onsite for environmental remediation and earthwork construction projects. The role involves direct supervision of the crew, construction equipment, and subcontractors onsite, as well as implementation of RECON's behavioral safety program and quality control of work performed each day.
Supervise the crew onsite, manage the execution of soil and earthwork construction, work closely with site safety, evaluate the competencies of craft employees, monitor the performance levels of the crew, generate daily reports, and maintain an adequate inventory of materials and heavy equipment.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of construction experience, including 5 years of direct field supervision, and a strong understanding of safety related to the safe operation of earth moving construction equipment.
