Surveyor

Role Overview

The Surveyor will collect information, conduct precise measurements, provide survey and layout support for construction projects using coordinate geometry and modern surveying equipment. This position reports to the Project Manager and provides daily survey support to the project management team.

What You Will Do

Perform preliminary survey work, collect data, conduct topographical ground survey work, design and run total station, manage AutoCAD, TOPCON Office 3D and Trimble GPS equipment, calculate height, depth, relative position, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain.

Strong communication skills and expertise in higher math skills, algebra, and trigonometry are required.

Requirements

• TopCon 3D- Office application
• AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Stakeout/Layout
• Professional GPS equipment utilization (TopCon preferably)
• Design surface comparison
• Volume Calculations
• Propeller application
• Drone flight experience (plus)
• 3 years of field survey operations experience with soil or earthwork construction project
• Proficiency in Total Station
• Basic understanding of earthwork, soil sampling equipment, construction equipment, materials and techniques related to civil/environmental construction
• Strong communication skills
• Expertise in higher math skills, algebra, and trigonometry
