Senior Backend Engineer

Senior Backend Engineer responsible for leading development of major team-scoped projects, participating in cross-team initiatives, and maintaining good understanding of the team's domain. We are a fully remote company with a globally distributed workforce, working asynchronously on ambitious problems. We use Elixir and Phoenix for our backend, React and Next.js for our front-end, and GitLab for version control and CI/CD. We foster internal mobility and prioritize employee growth and development.

Requirements

• Strong engineering fundamentals
• Practical experience designing or adopting agentic/automation workflows
• Ability to think in systems
• Postgres (or similar)
• CI/CD (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins or similar)
• Experience with Functional Programming languages such as Elixir, Erlang, Scala, Clojure, Haskell, etc.
