Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and fully licensed Elementary School Social Worker/Counselor to perform clinical and administrative duties related to mental/behavioral support and special education programs.
Requirements
- Must have a current and active license as an LCSW or LPC under the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners or as an LPC under the Louisiana State Board of Licensed Professional Counselors
- Must hold a valid Ancillary Certificate from the Louisiana Department of Education in one of the following areas: Mental Health Counselor - Provisional, Mental Health Counselor - Qualified, Social Worker - Provisional, Social Worker - Qualified, School Guidance Counselor K-12
- 2+ years in an urban school community providing school based social work/counseling services
- Strong clinical skills in providing evidenced based mental health and behavioral interventions to children and adolescents ages 4-16
