The Sr. Software Developer serves as the development group’s lead technical resource and leads all phases of a system’s development life cycle. This requires an emphasis on analyzing complex business and technical problems to shape and deliver an entire system’s software components.
Requirements
- Conceptualizes, prepares and creates detailed technical specifications written and configured for SharePoint or SharePoint Online.
- Writes, tests, analyzes, and implements high quality code according to specifications included in User Stories for SharePoint or SharePoint Online.
- Complies with all required Company policies and practices relating to the Software Development Life Cycle, using Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Provides Tier 3 support for SharePoint or SharePoint Online and drives resolution of open IT issues escalated by IT Customer Support.
- Maintains and builds strong vendor relationships with companies such as Microsoft, to resolve problems and coordinate the delivery of IT products and services.
- Supports and validates production release activities by using Integration and Delivery tools such as Jenkins and Git Hub.
- Organizes the SharePoint development environment setup and ongoing maintenance by partnering with internal Infrastructure for on premise and Microsoft Support for cloud base environments.
- Assists the Database Administration and the Systems Administration groups with the respective database and infrastructure system needs.
