Role Overview

Chenega is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team in Mountain View, CA. The Security Officer will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of NASA facilities, gain valuable experience and advance their career in security and law enforcement, and contribute to the safety and security of the NASA Ames Research Center.

What You Will Do

Act as the first responder to emergencies, enforce federal and state laws, conduct mobile patrols, inspections, and searches, guard NASA buildings and property, control access, and protect equipment and materials.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of military or law enforcement experience
• Completion of a state or federal law enforcement academy
• NASA Basic Training Standard (NBTS)
• ICS-100
• ICS-200
• ICS-300
• NIMS IS-700
• POST Academy
• Valid state driver's license
• No record or history of illegal drug use, sale, possession, or manufacture
