Systems Engineer, Electronic Security Systems (ESS)

Role Overview

Join our team at the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) as a Systems Engineer to integrate Electronic Security Systems (ESS) with Physical Security Information Management (PSIM). You'll lead the charge in transforming customer needs into robust technical requirements and serve as a vital advisor to government stakeholders.

What You Will Do

Serve as the subject matter expert for the enterprise Command and Control (C2) system, manage the full lifecycle of agency's PSIM and integration of more than 15 Electronic Security Systems (ESS), and proactively monitor the health and performance of all integrations.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role requires a strong technical knowledge of core security subsystems, including Access Control Systems (ACS), Video Management Systems (VMS), and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS). You'll work collaboratively in a combined industry/government group and have excellent writing and speaking skills.

Requirements

• Active secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in the electronic security industry with a focus on systems integration
• Demonstrated experience administering and maintaining enterprise-level security platforms
• Strong technical knowledge of core security subsystems
• Proven ability to translate operational needs from non-technical stakeholders into detailed functional and technical requirements
