Packer

Role Overview

The Packer will support the Finishing and Warehouse departments, reporting to the Finishing Supervisor. This role requires attention to detail and product quality, as well as the ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include pulling master rolls, assembling boxes, labeling cartons, and replenishing stock of raw materials. The Packer will also complete paperwork and convey finished skids to the warehouse holding location.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Ideal candidates will have one year of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment, with excellent attendance and punctuality. They should be able to read and interpret documents, and have specific vision abilities such as close vision and depth perception.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One to three months related experience and/or training
• One year of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment (preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret documents
• Superb attention to detail and product quality
• Specific vision abilities (close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus)
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines related to operating machinery
